Small and medium-sized practitioners can join a number of ACCA’s global virtual sessions over coming months, organised by The Practice Room, to share insights with fellow SMPs. The meetings will take place every second and fourth Wednesday of the month. Here’s a snapshot of what’s coming up in the next few weeks.
- 9 February, 9am GMT: What to look for in assessing technology solutions for your practice. Heather Smith FCCA, Anastasia Chalkidou FCCA and Eriona Bajrakurtaj FCCA, who run their own practices in Australia, Greece and the UK, will lead the session, which offers the inside track on evaluating technologies for your practice.
- 23 February, 4pm GMT: What is the ROI of sustainability for SMEs? How can SMPs can support? Sarah Whale FCCA and Bright Amisi FCCA will talk about the benefits of running a sustainable business, and how as an SMP you can help clients on their sustainability journey.
- 9 March, 9am GMT: Attracting talent for future success. Anastasia Chalkidou FCCA, Dato’ Lock Peng Kuan FCCA and Heather Smith, who run their own practices in Greece, Malaysia and Australia, discuss their top tips on attracting talent to your practice for future success.
- 23 March, 4pm GMT: Implementing technology solutions: engaging your teams, getting internal and external support. Anastasia Chalkidou FCCA, Arshad Gadit FCCA and Eriona Bajrakutaj FCCA, who run their own practices in the United Arab Emirates, Greece and the UK, look at what it takes to engage teams that are implementing technology solutions, and the external sources of support available.
Participants of the sessions will also be invited to join a new LinkedIn group to continue the discussions after the virtual meeting and connect with peers globally. You can see these events on The Practice Room calendar. More will be added throughout the year.
